Was just at symptom free so Llmd changed meds.

Dropped bactrim and added mino to rifampin. For a week was fine and then a herx.

So shins etc.

What do u think I should do to push thin into remission?.

I'm pretty sad at this point. Suggestions would b helpful at this point. [Frown]

I'm in the same boat. I'm on mino, bactrim and rifampin with other meds for Lyme. I didn't herx much on mino. I'm wondering if I should try a quinolone, but I'm scared of the side effects. Have you tried one yet?

Hi Janice,
In repsonse to your pm, what worked for us was taking samento/Cumanda (and burbur for detox) in the same glass of water twice daily on an empty stomach. We use nutramedix brand and you want to start slow with one or two drops twice daily for several days until the herxing dies down. You can ramp up slowly to 15 drops twice daily of all three herbs in the same glass of water.

Based on our experience and on electrodermal screening, we have seen that cumanda hits bart the best. In some rare cases when it doesn't hit it, Banderol usually does so that would be the second choice. Samento hits lyme but also hits bart to some extent so I would take that as well.

You will know the cumanda is working if you get easily angered as part of your herx....so go slow!

Hope this helps!

Feeling a bit better. Just not myself. Since adding mino, feel so tired. Also, stomach is off.

A lot of flu going around too.

Achey. Maybe upping detox will help.

Thanks, jkv

Does your llmd use Byron White formulas? A-Bart might be a good option at this point for you.

Herbs work differently and the Byron White formulas have cross over ingredients so you are helping fight other pathogens too, boosting your immune system etc..

I hear you though as far as wondering how to push the last few occasional symptoms into remission.

I consider myself better and in remission for the most part. But over the holidays I didn't take my herbs as consistently as I usually do (have never really done this). When I went back on the full dose two times a day I had a flare.

Crazy stuff!!!
