Experiences? Tini is supposedly newer, but some people swear by Flagyl? Thoughts?

I've read somewhere that Tini is like Flagyl on steroids.

I've heard that Tinidazole is more effective for both biofilms and cysts. It is also often easier to tolerate in terms of side effects in comparison to Flagyl.
I have taken both. I only took Tindamax for a week but there was NO noticeable herxing or side effects from it.
I've been on Flagyl consistently for many weeks and it causes a lot of depression for me even though I'm not on a high dose. However, it also gave me one of the best weeks of improvement that I've had in over a year. That improvement only lasted for the duration of the 2nd week though. Then I went back to my typical level of symptoms or slightly worse. I never had a severe herx on it but overall I feel pretty bad lately.
I tend to stick with the one that's more affordable since I need to watch costs out of absolute necessity. So for me it's flagyl for now.........
