I had a root canal pulled this morning, and they put me out. Now I feel like I caught the flu only without the fever.

That is awful, jlcd1. Hope you feel better soon. I wonder if you had infection in there and you are herxing as the bacteria is circulating around your system. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Maybe do some detox techniques to see if things lessen for you?
Good luck!

It seems odd that they would put you under to pull a tooth but I'm not a doctor... Every time you go under, there's alway a risk.
Seems that your issue may be from bacteria or pathogens in your gums or under the root canal. Some nasty pathogens can live there.
Are you taking any abx? Might be a good time to try to kill any pathogens that may have been released - with herbs or abx. I'm no doctor, though... I have read a case history about someone getting bells paulsy after having a tooth removed.

- Sedation is very hard on the liver and kidneys. It can take a while (even months) for the body to work through that added burden.
Same with nerves, muscles, etc. Your body has been through a trauma, even if under good care, it's alot for a body that is already taxed.
Drink lots of water, eat good food, rest. Good LIVER SUPPORT, too.

I get a headache after general sedation, so I think it's what Keebler is talking about, have to detox whatever was given to us.

thanks everyone. wasn't planned, the dentist couldn't get it out by hand so he said the surgeon is here and has time so that's the only way its coming out. really sucks and yes I am on abx so maybe it's too much on my body right now. my kidneys did hurt a lot yesterday and I was throwing up. feel a little better today.
