My Doc is changing my Zithromax to Biaxin go along with my Mepron and Bactrim.

Has anyone had any experience or improvement on Biaxin? I took it last year when they thought I had a sinus infection and my chest hurt/kind of had burning heart pain. Now that I look back, not sure if that was a herx or not.

I tried to take it this year. I get a strong bad metallic taste in my mouth. I can deal with it during the day but it was waking me up repeatedly at night. I was told that the XL form will not produce that bad taste as much.

I switched to Clindamycin.

Hope you have good results!

I just did the same switch as you and I'm having a hard time with it. From what I've read most people do fine
