I didn't post this in the parasite thread because I'm not using salt C or herbals.
I am doing pharmaceutical things, I did Bitricide, doing Ivermectin and Pyrantel Pamoate right now.
I didn't herx from the Biltricide I just lost the tingling in my leg. I can't believe it has actually gone away finally!
I have had two herxes from the other 2. They didn't last long like the herxes I have gotten used to. And they felt different. I felt better after. I have 9 more days on these then go to another anti parasitic.
I am finally making progress again, I was feeling stuck, I wasn't getting better or worse.
TREAT PARASITES! It works!

I couldn't agree more! I am grateful to Gael for her consistency in posting. (Thank you Gael!
After dealing with this illness for close to 20 years, I am finally making progress.
Treating parasites has been my game-changer.
In addition to parasites, I think it is particularly important to pay attention to the bosom buddies that go along with it....toxic metals, yeast, etc.

I'm so glad you are feeling better RC1! That makes me happy and hopeful!
I'd also like to add my gratitude to Gael for educating me on parasites and lyme. And thank her for her consistency and patience in answering.
Even though treating has been rough, I am finally figuring out the best pace and combo of meds for my body and I am seeing results daily!
I had no idea I was infected with parasites and I don't think I would have ever figured it out without this forum. Posts: 428 | From Midwest | Registered: Dec 2012

Hi RC1--thanks for posting. I am also doing the pharma meds for parasites. I've done several "waves" of ivermectin and albendazole with gradually increasing doses. I have to stop and take breaks because I herx a lot from my abx.
I'm getting ready to try Biltricide for the first time, so am glad to hear it worked well for you.
I am not ruling out the salt/C for me--just wanted to try the meds first. I do seem to be feeling better (between herxes) though I'm a long way from "there" yet.

RCI,
Thanks for the support. So happy to hear the parasite meds are helping you. The parasite warrior thread is not just support for salt/c and herbs. There are folks that post there who are on pharma meds also. Come join us if you need support.

OMG great news! I have also improved on antiparasitics. Meds, herbs and salt/c "light."
Parasite treatment has turned things around for me. I am on a slight break right now, but will start at it again in a couple weeks.
Definitely something that needs to be addressed.

I got close to remission, almost symptom free, with ivermectin. Now I wonder if I have something like toxoplasmosis causing my eye irritation, but when I asked the doctor about it, she refused to give me a test. I absolutely hate main stream doctors!
I am drinking camel's milk which is supposed to be good for parasites.

Son was prescribed Alinia for parastites. He tried Welchol instead of Ivermectin.
