I was reading in the "PORT" thread about the difficulty with showering with a port in the chest.
Has anyone considered using one of those hairdresser type capes to keep the majority of the water off of the port? A while ago I found one that was specifically developed for people with ports by a doctor but unfortunately can't find the webpage again.
Here is a hair dresser example from Great Britain on Ebay

I use a big piece of press n seal and it keeps water out. You still need to be careful but I have had my port in for a year and have no issues using the press n seal and a hand shower head.
