I somehow got it in my head to take 3 Teaspoons of CSA tincture a day.

I start low and go slow. So I have been taking 1 teaspoon with my evening meal in pom juice.

Tonight I have the eyeball-jittery thing. (where it seems it take steps to go from point A to point B, instead of a nice smooth movement)

And my head keeps dropping back-it is hard to hold it up.

But I just read in the Bart book that 30 drops of Sida 3 times a day is what's needed.

How much of this CSA should I be taking?

Just your eye lids sounds like muscle spasms. With the eyes, themselves, it's nystagmus and very common with lyme and magnesium deficiency. Also with a herx reaction from overload.

And from exhaustion.

You may be doing too much to soon of the tincture, though, so just slow that down. Best to call it a day and get to bed as soon as you can.

Before, be sure to have a little good food in you and drink some water.

MAGNESIUM usually helps any kind of spasm. And FISH OIL, too.

And REST. Go to bed if you can now. At least lie down in the dark with eyes closed, and quiet. It's really important to do that as your body is telling you it needs that.

If your head is hard to hold up, it's clear it's time for "lights out" so try to relax and let your body get that rest. Nice - relaxing - music can help soothe your muscles, too. But very quiet music, nothing too peppy. You want to drift off.

Tomorrow, I would back up to the usual method: Start with one drop in 1/2 cup of water with any tincture. Gradually increase, but by bit, every few days or so.

1 tsp is a very large starting dose for any tincture. You should feel better with rest. It's the end of the day now so just board that train to dreamland. Take care.

I ramped up at 5 drops 2x/day increments till I hit 1 tsp (about 120 drops or 3-4 droper fulls) 2x/day. Buhner does say:

Dear Stephen,
Please post the dosage for Sida acuta, ailanthius and whatever else you are now recommending for babesia that is not in the book…Thank you.

Stephen’s response:
Sida acuta: ¼-1/2 tsp 3x daily, Ailanthus: from 5 drops 3x daily to ¼ tsp 3x daily. Sida acuta/ Cryptolepis/ Alchornea cordifolia blend: ¼-1/2 tsp 3x daily. You could as well do ¼ tsp of each of these three tinctures 3x daily.

He sometime says up 1 tsp 3x/day in the new book, and sais if you have trouble stop for aa day or so then cut back dosage.
