Hi all,
So, as I posted elsewhere, I had to have my PICC removed after one week due to a clot. It's apparently not large enough to kill me, but big enough to cause serious problems if it were to enter my lungs.
I'm now on blood thinners -- at which point can I consider myself out of danger from the clot moving? I'm taking Xarelto -- I was reading that it can break down clots in the lungs -- does that mean I'm safe if the clot moves?

Thanks, Faith. He said now that I'm on thinners, I don't have to worry -- that, statistically, the problem arise when one is _not_ on thinners...when someone says, "Don't worry about it" to me, it doesn't work -- I'm not into blind faith -- a comprehensive understanding is what frees me...
