Does anyone know how many of the Prescript-Assist Pro tablets you are supposed to take a day while on abx? They don't have a regular CFU count like regular probiotics do.

Probably one would be fine.

I took one at bedtime, but I was also drinking homemade kefir or eating homemade sauerkraut with meals. I noticed improvement after adding the Prescript Assist.

The normal dose is 1-2 capsules/day. But ive heard of people taking more than that with positive results.

One of the best things about soil based probiotics is their ability to destroy fungi like candida. Thats basically what they do in the soil; keep it clean of fungi. Otherwise all the soil of the earth would be overrun with fungi.

Their effectiveness is probably a lot less when you are taking antibiotics as well.

A rep from the company told me that for really bad guts they recommend 2 caps twice a day, morning and night. But I couldn't tolerate that. I was only up to 2-3 caps a day total.

It started out good, then I started getting weaker and weaker. I had to stop taking it. I am not sure the PA caused the reaction or not, but it wasn't worth continuing as I was sliding down too fast.

I have heard of it being a negative for some people.
