my 9 yo is on month 4 of rifampin/zith. After starting Rifampin, several stretch marks appeared on the crook of her arm. She also has foot sole pain. Other than that she is much improved, anger, moods etc. We never tested VegF before but we just ran it, and she is at the low end of normal (43 on a range of 31-88). since she still has the stretch marks and pain, I had planned to continue the treatment. However my reading says you can stop when VEGF is normal. I wanted to see what others have experienced with VEGF - can it be normal but Bart is still active?

Yep !!!! Or so I'm told, depending on who you listen to.......I really don't know.
My VEGF test was for the whole issue of this illness.

So few Doctor;s have any idea about VEGF.

When my PC saw my numbers ,in the mid hundreds , he thought that was good.

In a way that's true ,it meant ,to him, that my body was finding new routes.

I didn't like it cause that meant it needed to.

Cardiologist never heard of it.

Only 1 Dr. checked this , others paid no attention.

Bart has gotten better ,then came around again, now told it's gone.

So symptom's that go with it must go with other issues.
