Hi <<<<< Lyme family >>>>>,
Having discovered that what I tho't was berberine, may not be the right product, I am wondering what is best, and for a reasonable price?
This is all out of pocket for us. So am trying to get the best we are able for the least money.
Thanks for any input!!!

I haven't been taking it recently - so, I don't know if it's as good as some of the more expensive ones. Swanson is not too bad if that's what you can afford.

I had been taking Thorne brand "Berberine".
It's 500mg per capsule, 60 capsules per bottle. It's about $28 on iherb, you may be able to price a few other sites like swansons and vita cost and amazon to see if you can find a lower price.
I had to stop taking berberine for now because my LLMD prescribed other supplements that he wanted me to try for awhile.

Hi <<<<< faithful777 >>>>>,
Thanks for the tip!!! It helps to save money when possible!
Just general info; I was checking on my prescriptions for any cross reactivity w/ berberines, it looks like mainly keep them separate as to timing to take them.
It is suggested to speak w/ Dr./PA to see if any adjustments to meds dosage may be needed.
[ ex. diabetic meds may need a lower dosage].
