I'm just curious if anyone else noticed a significant increase in dental plaque after starting treatment for Lyme (&/or Mycoplasma, Bartonella)?

I brush my teeth for about several minutes (i.e. 5 minutes) at least 2x a day. Since I started treatment this January, it seems like every time my LLMD adds a new Rx, the plaque buildup increases. Seems like I'm rinsing &/or after every meal, snack, etc. Just makes me self conscious...

Abx do this. I have to get my teeth cleaned every 3 or 4 months when on abx.

Me too! And thanks for the reminder as I had to cancel our last appointment as one of my kids was sick. If I go too long then it is painful!! My dentist had to submit something to insurance to get them to pay for more than twice a year. Just an fyi. Don't know if all have to

Wow. Thought it was just me. In my case, it forms quickly and frequently crumbles away--with a little help. The first few times it happened, I thought my teeth were breaking up.
