Hi everyone, I have a pretty pressing issue. I ran out of mepron today and will not be able to get some new before monday noon (means 50 hrs without).
I have malarone at home but have never tried it so far. In your guys' opinion, would it be better to pause for 2 days or to take the malarone instead?
Thanks a lot for your advices, Kern

I would take the Malarone in its place. Both meds have the same active ingredient--atovaquone--and both are used for babs.
In fact, some people are on both mepron and malarone at the same time to treat babs.
See how much atovaquone you are currently taking and take the equivalent amount in malarone. You may have to look on line for this info or call your pharmacist for it.

Malarone has two drugs in it so depends on what else you are taking.

Malarone works better for me than mepron did. I'd take it in a heart beat.
