Here is a update on my health. I ended up in the emergency room and they tested me for things -- they couldn't run any real tests on me. Basically, said see my family doc for advice.
So, I just went 3 days without food and water like nothing happened. It's so strange. Have had absolutely no desire for any of these things. I went to the bathroom once this entire time. Urine was dark brown.
The only thing I have been doing is sitting in my room and dwelling on problems, not even realising that I have been sitting in my room for days just dwelling and obsessing about problems. Have had o desire for other things such as any kind of social interaction (didn't even know I had to interact socially with others), or getting involved in something such as doing basic chores (knew nothing other than focusing on my problems and feeling only more stressed, negative and angry). Physically, however, I have been completely fine.
My mind has been getting attached to things and just dwelling endlessly (i.e. I get attached to thinking about _____ and my mind has been just getting stuck on that thought) -- it's been all it thinks about and knows, as if completely controlled or attached to something.
I am typing this while feeling 'clear' -- only way I noticed the symptoms.
Any thoughts on this?
My LLMD in NJ, Dr. S, must be really tired of me.

Please find a new doctor. You have some real problems that need to be addressed.

YOU NEED TO DRINK WATER!!!! 3 days without water can be life threatening. Force yourself if you have too. Dark brown urine can indicate that you are severly dehydrated!!!!!

I THOUGHT he meant he had been on IV and hadn't had water.
If not, Gael is RIGHT!!!
You are throwing your electrolytes off by not eating or drinking (for ONE thing.)

The lack of nutrition is throwing off brain chemistry and contributing to ruminating (to go over in the mind repeatedly).
The dark urine is dehydration.
It almost sounds like you're on a hunger strike because of your circumstances/depression.
Please keep posting just to stay connected. Do anything you can to break out of this.
If you're having trouble eating and drinking and just can't do it despite your best efforts, go back to ER and tell them you're not eating or drinking and and haven't so for X amount of days. Tell them you're ruminating. you might get admitted to the mental health ward but it might be what you need right now.
You need your mental health back. Is there a counselor or someone you can talk to?

Let your parents know what's going on. They can help you.
You are on Disability. Your parents should be making sure you have food/water.

You titled this Alien Symptoms, but in reading through what you've written, I think you're describing classic Lyme symptoms.
I and others have experienced these symptoms, we have managed them, and are out on the other side, which is what you need to be accomplishing too!
It's the Lyme doing this, not you intrinsically. You can learn more about what the Lyme does, and then how we counter it.
Lyme patients don't have a good sense of water regulation. Like, I didn't know I had to drink more when it was hot, and got heatstroke, and had to drink water for a couple hours to replenish. Now I know to drink water anyway, and more when it's warm, even though I can't tell I need more.
Rather than do or not do things based on how you feel, you need to make a switch, to act according to what you know what the Lyme is doing, and change your behavior.
Likewise, the OCD biz too - that's the Lyme again, so you need to figure out how to manage that, like get up and do something else that engages you, whatever that is - that will be different for all of us.
Then, with better Lyme treatment, these symptoms start to diminish. That means seeing a good doctor. Your Lyme doctor should not be "tired of you" - they should be managing you and your symptoms. If you don't feel Dr S is doing that, you need to see someone who will.
It's a partnership with a doctor, since they also need to hear from you how you're responding to a treatment.
So, in a wrap-up here, Lyme is tricky - your term "alien" is accurate, in that it's a takeover of our physiology. So, we need to a)understand what it's doing, b)know how to counter its impact, c)act upon that knowledge, and d)see a doctor who we can work with!
Like the others have said above my post, you need to start drinking and eating now.
And you are welcome to respond to us here, and we will help walk you through this - it is possible to get through, since so many of us have been where you are, and we've made it, at least to better health and lives.

VERY concerning that we have not heard back from someone who has gone for 3 days without eating or drinking and complaining of having dark brown urine. Anyone know how to get in touch with this member?
