I'm not referring to going outside in the winter, I mean even putting on jeans which have been lying say on a chair which feel cool-I start to shake and shiver almost uncontrollably. Forget about getting something out of the freezer - even worse.
Am I alone in this weird symptom and what causes it? So extreme!

Hmm in the past my thyroid numbers have been 'normal' - yes to the chills and hot flashes lately.. going through a bad bout right now in fact. Tons of leg pain too. Did babesia tx help you with those symptoms?

Yes I feel all of this heat coming from inside my body. My hands, feet and nose will be like ice.
I asked my husband to check my forehead and he said I was very cool. I said no way I'm burning up! His hands felt very hot too.

Yes, I get chills and hot flashes all the time. It's horrible. I had these symptoms for a while...way before treatment.
My doc thinks it's Bart. It should eventually get better with treatment...hopefully

I guess several of the infections can cause cold insensitivity but the worst one for me is protomyzoa. I cannot get warm when I go outside in winter. I have to literally turn the heat up to near 80 degrees or take a very hot bath. I am very sensitive to clothes that are cool and I have to wear sock and slippers to keep my feet warm. This is when I am feeling better.

Hmm interesting nefferdun, I'm exactly the same way though truthfully even too much heat will make me sick and dizzy. My showers are warm. Did you test + for protomyzoa? thx!
