Yes,

Photon therapy is a lot more effective from my experience. I have done both.

Totally different, aren't they? Cold laser is more for inflammation.

Cold laser was initially developed to help heal dental infections (abscesses, etc.).

I have found it helpful for other skin issues, but do not believe it can penetrate below the skin very far.

I don't know anything about photon therapy.

They're different. I'm not sure exactly what cold laser is, but the photon therapy as Dr. W does it works on the immune system.

I have a green laser. It's done some okay stuff, but nothing dramatic.

How many laser treatments did you son do Hoping? Did her herx from the treatments? I guess I'm expected to herx if it's working.

jlf2012 - it has been a while, but I think he did approx. 2-3 months of treatment (1-2 times per week?) with the cold laser. I don't recall him herxing from it.

I don't see how cold laser would help Lyme. It reduces inflammation (supposedly) but I don't see what it would do for killing spirochetes. (?)

Lymetoo - we tried the cold laser treatment to see if it would help my son's chronic pain. I don't think it kills spirochetes.

I was told it busts the cysts open. I don't know though...I'm going as a guinea pig because the guy who's better said he felt that's what helped him get better along with abx.

Photon treatments like the Bionic 880 or PE1, LightWorks are LEDs - a laser is a laser... It's a focused beam of light. LED are more diffuse. LEDs penetrate a more extended area.

I think it depends what you are using it for & how it is applied as to how effective they are. They are different, though.

I had a herx the first time I used cold laser, but not since. But because it helps anyway, I still use it.

I met someone last night who said he cured his Lyme and Anaplasma using a cold laser. And his chiropractor facilitated the therapy.

I have never heard of this, didn't know it was an option�.
