Hi there, i just started tx. to kill off bart. I am on Rifampin, minocyclin, azithromycin and metronidazole. I have never really herxed before, until using these. I have pretty bad fatigue and brain fog. Does anyone have any suggestions to help with this? Thanks in advance!

I agree with lymetoo-detox as much as you can. And monitor liver enzymes. After 15 months of orals, this was first time my enzymes were elevated. rifampin was tough for me to tolerate but many say it brought them huge results.

Rifampin is a good one for me. I herxed a little in the beginning mainly with anxiety, but then I tolerated it fine. It actually brought my abnormally high liver enzymes down.
For detoxing I did a lot of alka seltzer gold, lemon water and if it got really bad I added OTC Zyrtec to take the edge off and get some rest. By far the most effective detox method for me is glutathione IV's. I feel unbelievably better after one.
I've been on it almost 10 months. I didn't get drastic improvement, but I didn't get any worse either which is good since I was rapidly progressing before abx.

Thanks for your replies, I was not aware of how to detox, but I will try the alka seltzer gold and lemon water. Is the purpose to detoxing to get rid of the dead bacteria?
