I had my gallbladder out in September and found out recently I was having pancreas problems back then. The recent CT scan showed atropy (shrinking) of the pacreas head with chronic pancreatitis. I don't see my GI doc til next week. Has anyone else gone thru this too, any information would be helpful. Thanks

I do have some problems in that area. It seems to have calmed down lately.

I had GB surgery in '05 and then had a stone in my bile duct in '08. It's been off and on trouble there ever since.

I hope they can do something for you.

hanks Lymetoo, I have been having horrific stomach and back pain for the last 2 months. That is what lead me to see a doc recently.

Glad to hear your pain has calmed down.

I read to do a low fat diet, but can't find what would cause the pancreas to shrink.

Before I was dx with Lyme, I had several bouts with pancreatitis which landed me in ICU. Fast forward, turned out I was loaded with parasites. Parasites can cause horrific pain.

Google parasite symptoms and take a look at the PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD.

I know. I can't imagine it shrinking.
