This has been happening consistently since I became sick regardless of what antibiotic I've been on. Makes me question my Lyme diagnosis. Haven't tried a lot of other therapies but recently tried Alinia which shot up my liver enzymes like mad adn I had to stop. I'm so over this.

tailfeathers, have you tried the herbal route? Some people do better on herbs. I go to my support group and it is remarkable that some do better on herbs and others like me do best on a more western type of treatment. Have you tried Byron White's A-Bab?

I've heard they're strong?? i'm soo sensitive! May I ask what support group? An ACAM group or were you referring to your local Lyme group? How about those who are severely debilitated? Do they find it easier?

Mepron is fixing my problem with Babesia. I still use Cryptolepsis and Arteminisin too.

Babs is really hard to get rid of and in my opinion I would not just rely on herbs for that one.

Oh wow faithful, I'm glad it's helping you. My LLMD wants me to be on Mepron too..soo expensive! Well..*whatever* I have is a very very tough one, it's kept me horrifically ill for over a decade so perhaps I need to find the right tx and keep at it??

It is my local support group. I tell newbies to the group that everyone's experience with this disease is unique. Sometimes you find someone with similar symptoms, but we all learn from each other regardless. With A-Bab several people in the group start with one drop in a set amount of water and will take one drop of that water mixture to start out with. There are ways to deal with this, but do as you can but get on top of this aggravating disease. I don't know about Mepron, but I believe Coartem has a patient assistance program.
