OK, When I was my sickest, before my current round of Doxy, I had chronic burning diarrhea for MONTHS despite massive amounts of probiotics and healthy diet. My new llmd asked for a sample to test for yeast.

As soon as I started Doxy, the diarrhea stopped and have had only normal BM for the last week (so nice).

Is this normal?

Could it be since the Doxy I'm eating less dairy?

Dairy really could be the issue. I can't tolerate it.

It could also be because the doxy is hitting whatever has been wrong with your gut. Hard to know! Keep a watch on the dairy if you ever get off the doxy. That is when you will know for sure.

I had it too, for months. I think it is from the toxins. I think it's how some people get rid of them. I don't have it any more. I got it from cell wall abx like Bicillin, Amoxicillian, and Ceftin.

I have suffered with gut issues and diarrhea for 40 yrs. IBS, Celiacs. Whatever it was, since I've been on doxy (3 mos now) no issues with this. It's like the best 3 mos of my life with my gut!!!!

Doxy treats filarial worm infections (parasites). Maybe that is what's happening??
