I have feared i have lyme disease for nearly a year now. My symptoms include migrains, fatigue, muscle aches, floaters in my vision, sleep deisturbance, depression, anxiety, and much more.
Recently i have been sick, all the time. I went from a 2 month long cold to the flu. Followed by pink eye/ear infection and right back into the flu. A week of good health passed and i got a cold again and now my pink eye is coming back. I have no idea whats wrong with me and i dont know what to do. My regular doctors have no idea what it could be.
Im assuming my first step would be finding a llmd and sending bloodwork off to igenix?
Some days i dont feel like living anymore. Im always phisically and mentally run down. My depression is worse then ever and so is my phisical health.

Lyme certainly can make a person depressed, that's for sure.

I have never seen a bite on me or a tick in me. Iv lived a very outdoorsy life though. I cant count the number of time iv found ticks on or in my clothes.
I fear what i will find out. Not knowing seems better if not equivalent to finding out i have lyme. What good does it do to know you have it? In all the reserch iv done it doesnt seem like theres much helping people with chronic lyme. I never stumble upon success stories on this board. Only stories of dispair and suffering. It doesnt lead me to be very optimistic.

Actually, the opposite is true, in my experience, Gone. People here get better, and I attend an area support group where people can often show up very sick, and with good treatment, they turn around and get better. That should be your goal!
With the symptoms you're reporting, and your saying you've been bitten by a lot of ticks, it sounds like Lyme to me.
IGeneX can send you a free testkit - www.IGeneX.com, 1-800-832-3200. Any doctor can sign off on the IgM and IgG tests for Lyme, plus if you want to test for the co-infections, like babesia, bartonella and ehrlichia - I suggest you google their symptoms to see if you think you match any.
Tests don't always come back positive even though we may have the illnesses. Strains not testable, bacteria in hiding, lack of antibodies, etc. So Lyme doctors also treat clinically, based on history and symptoms.
And yes, to get to a Lyme doctor. Droid has offered to assist with that.
Treatment falls in three categories for Lyme: kill/deter the organisms, detox, and fortify the body. If you have co-infections, they also need to be treated.
It helps to become knowledgeable about what treatments are for Lyme, so I suggest you start studying them. We're all different and respond differently to treatments, so the trick is to find the ones that work for us.
People here can help work with you on everyone of your symptoms here.
For example, my Lyme eye symptoms go away when I drink mangosteen juice, an anti-inflammatory juice in healthfood stores and online. I drink 1/2 oz in the am and pm. I like the mango-xan juice blend - it's tart.
And this works for me, although it may not work for someone else. As I said, the trick will be to find out what you respond to.
