I've been having a pretty hard time with weakness lately. It's not muscle specific, though (I can still lift about the same amount), but generalized weakness. Honestly what it feels like is that I don't have any blood.

My blood pressure has always been normal (110 or 120 over 70 or 80) when they check it. Once or twice it's been low, but not alarmingly so. But they also are checking it at the doctor's office, after I've eaten and driven myself about 2 1/2 hours, largely in scary fast traffic (multi-lane highways stress me out!)

I've never checked it at home. It's the worst when I wake up in the morning, I actually have a really hard time waking up and staying awake because of it. I try to keep up on my water intake, and it usually improves a bit for awhile. Some days I'll get hit again once or twice with a bad spell of it.

I never feel great. I remember the year that I was in remission, or whatever we get to call that, I did feel great. One of the things I mentioned to my husband was actually "wow, I feel like I have blood in my legs. That's awesome."

I'm just generally sort of sluggish and weak, and dragging myself through daily tasks anyway.

Sorry, that was kind of long. My question is if anyone else has had this sort of experience, and what helped. Seeing the doctor soon, so I'll certainly talk to him about it, but I like to do my research. He has mentioned in the past that other symptoms that I had pointed to POTS. We opted not to test/treat specifically for that at the time, and when my other Lyme symptoms went away, so did the POTS ones.

Since I got sick again (early 2010), they're back. Sigh.

Go buy a BP monitor so you can find out. I love my new one that fits on your wrist. It's so easy!
