been treating for 5 years and recently had a Autonomic Response testing done which revealed Babesia.

what I am curious about is whether anyone else has a similar case. in 7 years of being sick ever had a night sweat or any of the symptoms on the list except fatigue and muscle weakness(mostly stamina).

I just wonder if that tells me anything...at this point all of my symptoms are CNS and psyche related. Bart gets addressed next

anyone else have a similar presentation?

Dave

Dave

My son had babesia and his only babesia symptom ever was slight air hunger. 4 months of mepron/zith took care of it. Best wishes.

Hi Dave
I had hot flashes and headaches. Mepron/zyth didn't help with headaches but no more hot flashes. I was on it for four months.

Good luck

I really never had any babs symptoms, yet it showed up on the Igenex FISH test, so I definitely had it. When I started treating it, wow did I get a reaction.

I never had any sweats at all. I never had air hunger at all.

My primary symptoms were extreme muscle weakness and horrendous fatigue.

I believe I had what Burrascano calls a "subclinical infection."

See this quote:

"It has also been reported that Babesia infections can range in severity from mild, subclinical infection, to fulminant, potentially life threatening illness. Subclinical infection is often missed because the symptoms are incorrectly ascribed to Lyme. Babesia infections, even mild ones, may recur even after treatment and cause severe illness." (page 23)

Thanks everyone...your feedback falls in line with what I'm thinking...maybe I get lucky and kick this in 4 months.

Happy easter.

So a month in and hard to say what's going on because i'm also treating KPU but i have an increase in brain fog and anxiety. My gut tells me that this is babesia die off? Hopefully it passes. Thoughts?

The KPU i'm 2 months in and it also has been hard but the muscle cramping i am getting is starting to get better as is the initial fatigue so i'm thinking the brain fog and anxeity are from babesia/mepron.

Dave, one of your babs symptoms is anxiety? Does it come at any particular time of day?
