Hi folks:
Changed to my new LLMD a few weeks ago. He is doing a bunch of tests before starting me on my "real" protocol. But in the mean time, he had me start Liposomal Artemisinin from Hopkinton Drug.
I've been on this before. The first time I took it I was on Mepron, Biaxin, and Plaquenil. I had a pretty big neuro herx which came out as increased anxiety..as if I drank 20 cups of coffee. I was pretty surprised because I had done high dose, "regular" artemisinin in the past from Allergy Research Group with little to know effect.
I haven't done liposomal (or any) artemisinin in about 6-8 months. In fact, I've been enjoying a nice, long break since November. I've been off all ABX since then and have only taken some herbs like MC-Bab2 and Byron White A-L along with some mild anti-malarials.
Fast forward to this past week. My new LLMD wants me to ramp up to taking 4 liposomal artemisinin's per day. Start with 1 pill and increase by 1 pill per week.
Last Wednesday I increased to 2 pills / day. Thursday and Friday I noticed some flaring of symptoms. They were mild.
But on Saturday all hell broke loose. Fever, malaise, nausea, sweating, chills, dizzy. I couldn't be out of bed for more than 10 minutes without feeling terrible.
Sunday was better, but still off. I could at least eat and walk around, although I was fatigued.
Last night I had terrible night sweats. Worst I've had in months.
Today, I have chills and some flu-like malaise.
Wow..this is some potent stuff.
My LLMD says it is a low dose, but because it is "liposomal" it is 5x more effective and helps target biofilms, lyme, viruses, parasites, and other bugs like Bartonella and Brucella.
He swears by it.
It is definitely hitting something. Anyone else try it?

That is the same ART I use and cans tell you that it is really really potent! I take a very small dose and it causes a die off.
I think it crosses the BBB much better then the other forms of ART.

Wow, I'm not sure I could handle four (I've done 2/day). Do you pulse them or just keep taking them every day?

My oldest did 10 days of QuickSilver liposomal artemesia. He didn't seem to herx. I wonder if I need to switch brands. Our doc discussed other people having a lot of success with the form. He takes mepron and plaquenil also.

Yeah....I'm on this now and let me tell you! This stuff is no joke. I've worked my way up to two pills twice daily but that took me a while to do! Good luck!

Glad to hear it's hitting something. I'm interested in learning more about this since it seems to work on many things. What strength are you using? Keep us posted?
Thanks, LAXlover
