I have been diagnosed with pink eye and the drops aren't making much difference. It has been over a week now.

I'm starting to wonder if I really have it to begin with and if I do, is Lyme somehow preventing treatment from working.

Any chance this is bart?

May be allergies...?

Or a non-bacterial infection...(I.e., fungal or viral)...

I like Optique 1 eyedrops for stuff like this...homeopathic, gentle, no preservatives...

Yes, pink eye is a bart symptom.

When I read up on bart and "pink eye", it said I would have a fever and swollen lymph nodes with it if caused by catch scratch fever. It is called POS. I don't fit the description.

My sickest child is graduating amazingly on the 2nd and I do not want red eyes. I also don't want to spread pink eye if that is what I have to visiting family members.

I am going to try emailing my LLMD and see what he thinks. Not sure seeing my PCP again will do any good.

Do you also have dry eyes? That may make you more prone to it and make it harder to get well.

Call your PCP next week and ask for another med.

Chronic Bart. doesn't play by the "Cat Scratch Fever" rules...sometimes, not all the symptoms are present.
