You should take them a few hours before bedtime.
I schedule mine to be about 4 hours before bedtime so I can take my supplements at least two hours after the abx.

I could never take ABX after dinner. It would mess up my sleep for sure.

what causes this?
I've never noticed this before this illness. I would just take them spaced by hours.
Well, I never had this much to do/take before LD.
Is there a scientific reason, in general, or is it part of LD?
I knew you shouldn't lay down after Doxy. , but that was because it could hurt you if it didn't get all the way down.
This is not same issue.
Thank you......N

I think it might be possible that antibiotics may effect our sleep if taken too late at night. Some also make me sleepy...
We are in a difficult situation because we have to time our antibiotics to every 8, 12, or 24 hrs. Often that means we have to take antibiotics before bed.
Nonna, you might want to look at herbs and supplements to make sure that you are not taking anything stimulating a few hours before bed.
Also, if you take sleep meds, they need to be taken on an empty stomach. Foods with higher fat, protein, and fiber will significantly delay the action of your sleep meds.

I know yeast becomes active at night so if you take an anti fungal, night time would be good for that.

I take my last dose of ABX right before bed - 2 Doxy and 1 Biaxin - they don't seem to alter my sleep though.
Now, I'm waiting an hour after the ABX to take my herbs - so now I'm missing my normal bedtime just to get all these meds/herbs in me! I get up at 5am so I do need my sleep.
Suggestions on timing? 6 am herbs, 8 am ABX with small breakfast, 2 pm herbs, dinner 6-7 with vitamins/probiotics, 8 pm ABX, 9 pm herbs.
