Has anyone used this? Did it work to save gall bladder from rocephin or have any ill effects?

My husband took 1 pill, 2x/day (correction). He had gallbladder sludge before doing IV Rocephin. It definitely helped prevent stones.

He was on IV Rocephin, then IV Clindamycin. His gallbladder is fine...and he is too! [Smile]

I took (1) 300mg capsule two times a day for 13 months while on IV Rocephin.

No gall baldder issues nor side effects.

I did Actigall for a year with Rocephin with no gall bladder issues.

Niacin can negate the effectiveness of Actigall.

Ya, I'm trying to juggle priorities here since insurance dropped me so tests are not really an option now.

Symptomatically, I've only heard you get really sick after eating fatty foods.
