Our practitioner uses zeolite to detox heavy metals. Do others use this? Has it worked for you?
Thanks, tickbattler

Yes, Dr. H uses it. It did not work as well for me as Byron White Detox 2.

This is a good question. I am looking for a heavy metal detox that is more easy on the system.
desertwind-Byron White Detox 2 doesn't seem to be specific for heavy metals. But you took this for metals? I see they have a new product specifically for metals now.

My LLMD recommends modified citrus pectin for metals detox.
When I get my mercury out, I'm planning to try several different binders beforehand to find out what I tolerate best. I want to use more than one...
Chlorella, citrus pectin, zeolite are what I am considering, since I cannot do so many of the others...

Do not confuse binders with metal mobilizers. It takes a minimum of two agents, more often three, to get metals out of the body. And different metals require different agents. Do not attempt metal detox without the help of an experienced practitioner. This is less of a do-it-your-self job than anything we are dealing with. Some metals are in extracellular spaces, some are inside cells. Some body compartments need to be treated before others. If the gut is still loaded with toxic metals because it is heavyly innervated, it is not smart to use an agent such as cilantro that can affect the central nervous system area. Mercury hangs itselt onto nerves and there are many many many in the gut.
In other words, if the brain is treated before the gut is, bringing down too many metals can become a major headache and instead move more metals into the brain than out. Lower portions need to be treated before the brain/central nervous system.
Find a practitioner who understands this. And if you have not treated parasites yet, it is a different story alltogether.
ALA only - I have never done it or seen it done that way.

GiGi- my llmd told me I could take HMD on my own, maybe because my levels were within range. Is this a mobilizer and binder in one? Or would I take a seperate binder?

jamers; This is what my LLMD recommended for helping bind heavy metals. I cannot take any sulphur type compound. Who knows...
I also take B.W. NT Detox. Which B.W. is more specific for metal binding?

Jamers, yes, everything is in HMD plus the Lavage and Chlorella that are discussed on the websites. If you study the different websites on HMD that I posted several weeks ago, you will get a good idea. I do not have them handy right now. Just search and google. It's good to be familiar with all before you take anything.
Of all the metal detox, I liked HMD the best. I don't care for the extra chlorella, and took DE instead, lots of it. But I now do MMS because I know I can't get anyplace without getting rid of the remaining microscopic parasites that I test for. Don't forget, because it is impossible to get rid of metals as long as you still are dealing with parasites.
busy filling my new vegetable bin with soil, so I can grow some good stuff! And right now the sky is still blue......
Dr. K. advised me against zeolite years ago, and I did not care for it then.

desertwind-I wonder if I can tolerate Sulphur either, I had a reaction to Bactrim but otherwise I can deal with sulphur foods and sulphites. How do you know if Sulphur is a No-No? B.W. has a new product specitically called Heavy metal detox, I saw it when I was looking for Detox 2.
GiGi-Thank you for the great information. I think I may try the HMD. I could only find their website and it didn't offer pricing or anything so I will check out your link. I am treating parasites right now and feel a lot of crawling, tingly sensations all over. I wonder if some of this is metals circulating. I do know my gut has been a mess though...acid relux, nausea, gurgling.
Enjoy your garden! My seeds are starting to pop up and I cannot wait to get some veggies!

I didn't feel much of a difference from using zeolites. I haven't started a heavy metal detox yet, per se. From what I read, the citrus pectin seems good.
This company has some good products. I studied it for some time...

Thank you all for your input.
Gigi - why did Dr. K advise against zeolite? Is it a binder or a mobilizer? It is odd because when we tested it on the EDS machine, it tested much better than chlorella for removing heavy metals. It is what my practitioner uses to clear heavy metals and she sees levels going down with it in her patients but I know all docs have their favorites. I had read that cilantro was bad to take first for the very reason you mentioned so I have not taken that.
I took two drops of a liquid zeolite a couple of weeks ago and I was very dizzy from it on the second dose of it. Do you think it was moving things too fast?
I have not heard of HMD - I will look that up.
Thanks, tickbattler

The zeolite HP on the Cowden Support makes my fungal problems a lot worse for a couple of days afterwards, which I associate with the release of metals, so I hope it is binding as well.
