I have a friend who said he was a scammer. Gael may know about him.

The only thing I know is that lymestrategies recommended him. Personally, I think any parasite testing is iffy at best. If someone thinks he is a scammer, I would run the other way.
Knowing what I know now about how most people with chronic illness have parasites, I would just go ahead and treat either with herbs and salt/c and or pharma meds such as Ivermectin.
The antiparasitic herbs and salt/c hit other infections as well.

I think he can detect parasites of many kinds, but do not agree with his opinion that Morgellons is always caused by a reaction to dental repair materials. Allergies to these materials might produce a skin reaction, and removal of them might help some people. But this is not a cure all for morgellons.

Lymetoo,
Oh no! Hope our friend is doing okay. I guess with this disease we are open to many options albeit sometimes not always with a positive result.

This was the ONLY lab to find anything for my daughter. They found charcot-layden crystals which can be a byproduct of parasites. Flagyl worked wonders for her, along with antibiotics. I refer people to them since we were happy that someone finally found something!

That's positive news to hear LAXlover. Did Dr. Amin prescribe the Flagyl and abx? Glad to hear that it worked for your daughter.
Lymestrategies speaks highly of them on their sight. I have no personal experience with them.

glm1111, Dr. Amin prescribed his own parasite protocol: Freedom, Restore, Cleanse.
I bought 2 months supply but have not used it yet.
My daughter's ped put her on the flagyl and clindamycin, since at that time her symptoms were Crohn's Disease 5-6 yrs., repeating cellulitis (1 1/2 yrs.), the possible positive parasite test, then later I had him run CD-57 and Western Blot, both came back VERY abnormal.
After the low CD-57 and pos Western Blot, I took her right to my LLMD. That was 1 1/2 yrs. ago.
We are both currently treating for Babs.
I really want to try treating for parasites asap. I started but stopped because LLMD wanted to do the Babs.
PS. My daughter's Crohn's and cellulitis has disappeared with the treatments!!!

From talking to him and from asking other people I know, I thought well of him in terms of his testing at least. I don't know about the efficacy of his herbal treatment.
But I would like to know via PM what the negatives are, as I was planning on using him with some clients in the future for testing. I want to know the full story! I certainly don't want to only have info from him and one other source.
But it is true that everyone has parasites, unless they have treated extensively---and kept up with periodic treatment. So, we might as well assume we have them and treat---esp when ill.

Hubby had a bloodslide done a couple of years ago looking for babesia -- test was negative. That is the only testing we had done with this lab.
As for the charcot leyden crystals -- that indicates G.I. parasites -- hubby had positive tests years ago for that from the old Great Smokies lab (now called Genova Dignositics).
Can't remember if the complete G.I. panel from Diagnostechs lab found the charcot leyden crystals or not -- but that is a very good test and not terribly expensive.
