"- My pain is not a shoulder pain, more of a muscle ache. It feels like I got kicked in the arm with a steel toe boot. The ache comes and goes, but stays for a while, and is there more often than not. It isn't a tendon pain, as I'm taking Levaquin. At first I thought it was a heart attack. very scary. but it's just an annoying painful ache."

i have it on both sides. in nov-dec 2012 i had PT for it and it got worse so i quit PT. then it gradually got better but not totally. at its worst i couldnt use the left arm to comb my hair, reach up, lots of things. pain, weakness and major loss of range of motion.
the right one is the same pain but not as bad.
it was dx as rotator cuff-but mri did not show surgery was necessary.
im just wondering because you i'm reading ppl say this is lyme related. how do you know it is lyme related? if i thought it was lyme i wouldnt have wasted all that money on PT

Is it worse laying down at night? Usually rotator cuff pain is worse in bed.
A good PT can help rotator cuff-did you go to a sports medicine PT place?
My arm pain is lyme or babesia related-it's worse with artimisin!

I have this also. If you grab my upper arms I practically cry from the pain. It's worse at night. Nothing has helped
