i need to lose a few lbs, im a dancer and a model and what i make depends on how i look. ughhh this disease and all of its problems. anyways, i have not become obese or anything. ive gained about fifteen lbs recently because i have not been religiously counting calories, because it is a drag. most people dont have to count calories! i have found that if i eat more than 1500 calories a day i start to gain weight. and im only 24! 1500 isnt much at all, even for being 5'3 tall. so i must have a metabolism problem? i should be able to eat more than that. i tAKE diflucan, i dont think its a yeast problem. ive had to watch what i eat for years, so i dont know if its lyme related or an effect of lyme or genetic. but id like to think its something that can be helped. ive tried thyroid meds, coconut oil, appetite supressants, lcarnitine, iodine, green tea extract. appetite supressants have been the one to help the most, so that i eat less. but i read eating less can slow your metabolism further over time, so i want to figure this out.

I'm 5'3.5" and I only need 1300 calories/day to maintain my weight...
Metabolism can be stimulated by exercise - are you able to do anything for exercise, even if it is just deep breathing exercises?
And also sleep is very important to maintaining weight. Sleep deprivation can contribute to weight gain.
Also, many antibiotics cause weight gain as a side-effect...it is mostly water weight.

I have learned that mold exposure and toxicity can cause weight gain. Is this is a possibility for you?
