- Have you been tested for H. PYLORI? If not, it's really important as that infection is one known cause.
Yes, certain Rx and certain over the counter products can cause ulcers and
so can other infections.
As to some natural help, first, if H. Pylori, the Rx approach WITH herbal support would be my suggestion.
I have some links in my file. I'll be back but basically, for some symptom relief:
Slippery Elm, Marshamallow Root, DGL, and very, VERY low dose of gluatamine (this can be far too excitatory, though, so be careful). -

. . . Recent scientific evidence indicates that the H. pylori bacterium plays an influential role in ulcer formation . . .
. . . dental plaque can harbor a supply of H. pylori, which may allow continual re-infection (Dosai, et. al 1991).
In cases of gastric ulcers, we must first address diet, stress, food allergies, liver health and digestive power. It is sometimes possible to obtain symptomatic relief with cooked okra, cabbage juice or bananas.
A few weeks or months of DGL licorice therapy can also serve to strengthen the stomach and intestinal membranes. This is very effective, even in some cases of H. pylori infection. In stubborn cases that do not respond to simple therapy, research indicates that mastic gum (Pistacia lentiscus) is emerging as a beneficial anti-ulcer therapy (Huwez, et. al 1998). . . .

Thanks again, i got some slippery elm from whole foods. They actually sell it in bulk, either standard or organic. It's definately helping and allowing me to eat things others than pureed foods.
I will also try the cabbage juice and try again to treat parasites when i can get this leaky gut healed.
thanks again!

Be careful not to overdo the cabbage juice. The reason that works is that it contains glutamine. But as Keebler mentioned that supplement may aggravate seizure disorders and neurological problems. Organic sauerkraut might be a better option than cabbage juice.
Aloe vera gel is another supplement that might help.
But if all else fails then the herb comfrey should work. I made a tea and then had Steve eat the leaves I used to make the tea. This is what finally healed his gastric ulcers seen on an endoscopy years ago.
For him bartonella was the culprit and combining herbs with levaquin was the answer.
Also you need to be aware that actually low stomach acid could be contributing to gastritis -- so antacids could definitely make the problem worse.
