Dry skin brushing, to help remove built-up dead skin cells.
Coconut oil applied topically on the bumps, moisturizes and calms inflammation.
A citrus fruit rub may also help - the acid can help strip away excess gunky buildup in the skin.
Anti-inflammatories always seem to help mine.
My Allergist (who diagnosed mine) said this happens when the immature skin cells move up from the lower layers of the skin don't turn flat when they get to the top of the skin. He recommended a lotion full of nasty chemicals, which I refuse to use.

Well, not an abundance, since it is a fat soluble vitamin,
but I supplemented with micellized vitamin A drops, and Nordic natural fish oil given daily. She also loves carrots.
She had is really bad, too, back of arms and legs. Pediatrician shrugged and said, oh well, nothing you can do,
it is hereditary. Well guess what? About 6 months of supplementing, it is completely gone, and has been for 2-3 years now.

I had it for most of my life. It went away completely I think it was the vitamin A that did it. I have been taking 10,000 IU a day.

I have seen discussions on a celiac forum , they meant it was related to gluten somehow

I have another theory about this condition. I think it could have something to do with not being able to detox mycotoxins.
Like I said, I have had this most of my life, and most of my life I have lived in a moldy house.
The reason I think there is a connection is that I had seen a post on it before and people were saying they only developed it after getting Lyme (mycotoxin).
Also the relation to Celiac's, most of the people who have Celiac have the genes that they can't detox Lyme or Mold or both.
Just a theory.

And mycotoxins are formed by Candida/yeast/fungus.

The blocked pores on the backs of your upper arms can be fixed with fish oil, taken orally.
The fish oil liqufies the oils in the pores and reduces inflammation.
Inflamed hair follicles can also be helped with fish oil. You can apply a little castor oil to reduce inflammation. You can speed healing by using LED light therapy.

Thank you for all of your replies.
Do any of you notice that it comes and goes?
It seems to be worse during hot weather or from sun exposure.

Mine is bad no matter what time of year. The only thing that has helped mine is Prednisone, but I'm not interested in taking Prednisone to have smoother skin...NOT worth it, IMHO!

I will definitely keep yeast in mind, but I don't think that's it. We have been on yeast prevention from the start, no signs of it and have been tested. So far (fingers crossed), we have been ok.
Have a Dr's appt on Tueday, I'll get him to look at it.
Thanks again for all of the helpful suggestions.
