Updated later post. Not sure what to think - and doubtful.
--------------

Herxing/toxic - very sick. Never have done an enema. Will try a Fleet. Brother will go to store for me. What to get?

Child/adult?
Ounces?
Saline or Natural?

Can contents be removed to use just plain warm water?

I am, 5'2" 100 lbs. Thanks any/all help.

no. don't use plain water. you may want to have him get a mineral oil one. works better. or if you want, use distilled water and dump out the saline they have. also make sure it's warm.

hold it in for as long as you can.

it should help you.

susan,

not sure if i;m too late but you are better off getting an enema kit as opposed to the fleet one...the fleet bottle does not hold enough and cannot be used for coffee. I never did coffee enemas until a few months ago and from wha ti know that is the only thing that will flsuh the toxins. The caffeine trigers your liver to release bile and thus flush the toxins.

the coffee thing sounds hard or messy its not and it really works. plus the kit costs about 12 bucks.

plain water is not going to force the release of toxins. PM me if you want some tips ,

Dave

the Fleet salines don't remove any toxins? what do they do then????

They remove fecal matter but have no real effect on the liver. Coffee enemas get to the liver and release toxins and increase glutathione.

There's no comparison, eventually you will want to do coffee enemas. You will feel much better than a regular enema. I've used a fleet with organic coffee before, but a kit is WAY better.

And use special enema organic caffeinated coffee, it won't have the same uppity effect that drinking it does, much milder if any. I can't even take a sip of coffee, but can handle enemas.

Thanks. I felt so bad these past days I even went to the local small ER. All my blood tests fine. Liver etc.

I now realize I must have finally killed something creating a terrible herx. I feel so toxic/poisoned. How can one be "toxic" and have normal bloodwork?

Herxes can last for many days? This is a first for me.

I took activated charcoal and that seemed to make things worse.

When I took some Chlorella last year it made me dizzy and real "off" for days. Apple Pectin same but not as bad. So I thought I was reacting to the Act. Charcoal like I had with the Chlorella.

I have been dizzy. All herx symptoms ever mentioned. Chemical taste in mouth. Dry eyes/mouth much much worse. Bowels smell like chemicals. Sweat smells different/worse.
Burning in mouth, tongue. lips. Blurry eyes.
Awful.

So if it was not the charcoal doing this - it must be a herx from meds. I'll try the Fleet enema then coffe enemas soon. I guess as a binder I will use apple pectin as it seems to be the one that gives me the least trouble.

Herxes can last for days, weeks, months. What meds were you taking?

Don't take any more until you feel better.

I thought coffee enemas were contra-indicated in those with no gallbladder?

I did a 4 oz saline Fleet enema Monday.
Passed some interesting things.

Did a second 4 oz saline Tuesday - followed by an 8 oz coffee enema - very weak coffee.

That produced something I thought I recognized - ropeworm?

Researching found this URL which I am sure many of you have read:

http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1301/1301.2845.pdf

What I read and saw made me believe I had passed ropeworms - particularly when seeing figures 6 a,b and c. Fig. 6c I only saw the lighter brown section. That came after the coffee enema.

The "stones" passed after the saline enema. After the first saline enema one of the last things to come out was slime - which I caught on toilet paper while it was exiting.

I thought was strange - but probably typical for a saline enema.

Anyway, after the second days enemas I thought I had passed ropeworms and got excited about it.

Then I read about mucoid plaque and started having doubts.

The ARXIV URL says the "ropeworms" are seen after cleansing enemas and/or after saline mix enemas.

Photos of mucoid plaque show large gobs of yuck.
My thinking is that stuff is a result of the cleansers that contain clay etc.

I had not done clay or any other cleansers but had been sporadically taking a couple of capsules of activated charcoal - then switching to apple pectin.

The slime - dunno. Perhaps the "stones" were from the apple pectin.

The "worm" - dunno. Perhaps not a worm after all. The only reference to ropeworm is the ARXIV paper. So I have my doubts about ropeworm.
ie a newly discovered unclassified parasite/worm

I had read somewhere that saline enemas can help against parsites. Maybe yes - maybe no.

Thoughts?

I would think it was this:

"Then I read about mucoid plaque and started having doubts."

Razzle, I didn't know that about the gallbladder!

No binders past days.

Did 8 oz Saline Fleet tonight. Nothing remarkable except that I was feeling smug - "got this stuff down" (or rather up...) Then had an accident. Oops. Scene one; act two came later than expected.

Scene two - 8 oz coffee enema. Still waiting for the first act. Nothing happening. Nothing coming out. Wondering where it all went. Absorbed?

I wanted to watch the Spurs game anyway.
Maybe when the game is over I'll hit the jackpot.

Question on massaging belly - clockwise and counter clockwise as suggested - When on one's back which way is what?

If you are laying on your back looking at your belly, your colon starts in the lower right corner of your abdomen, by your right hip.

It then proceeds up towards your chest, then turns left across your abdomen just under the ribcage, and then turns down towards your left hip.

There is one final jog right at the lower left hip, and then down before it reaches the rectum, approx. in the center of your lower abdomen.

For a diagram, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_gastrointestinal_tract

I am apparently directionally impaired when on my back.

One is supposed to massage in one direction while holding and the other direction when expelling?

It would seem that one should massage/sweep with the flow - that is where I get lost.

On one's back where would be 12, 3, 6 and 9 of the clock?

I feel so stupid - will look at the diagram again.

When holding I have been massaging from lower middle abdomen starting in direction of the right hip.
Then reversing when expelling. Making circles around my navel with the palm of my left hand.

I think I might have that wrong.
