Hello,

I was previously diagnosed with a candida overgrowth (maybe 2 years ago?).

I was treated by my LLMD, and got it under control. Candida diet, supplements, fluconazole.

Recently, I had been cheating on my diet. I was also forgetting to take my Kolorex (anti-fungal) daily as I should.

In addition, I had a gastro virus a couple of weeks ago. In order to stay hydrated, I had to drink a lot of Gatorade and some PediaLyte...which I know is all sugar.

A few days ago, I began noticing symptoms of nausea, a little diarrhea, anxiety, etc. I had these symptoms with my last bout of candida overgrowth.

I started the Kolorex again (but every other day as I think I could be herxing) and am sticking to proper diet.

Today, I have been getting a sharp pain a few inches under my belly button and a bit to my left. I feel the pain for 1-2 seconds, and then it disappears. It comes back either a few minutes later or more than a few minutes later.

Can this be candida related???

I appreciate any feedback!
Thanks so much!

So sorry to hear, randibear. I know it can be rough.

My hope is that this symptom is candida related. As I continue doing what I'm doing, I'll see if it subsides.

I hope to get this under control without fluconazole. Rather not take it if not absolutely necessary.

Has anyone else ever had this symptom chalked up to candida?

Thanks!
