OK I am getting short episodes of blorpiness in my heart.
It feels like maybe valve regurgitation. It self corrects in less than one second. It does kind of feel like skipping a beat. It comes and goes, and is definitely worse with herxing.
I do get brief periods of tachycardia, but this is different.
I was diagnosed with a valve problem during my Medical Mystery Tour. It completely resolved after my first year of Lyme treatment.
My doc (not LL) was surprised but pleased. I always liked that guy.
I did just change meds, so I think this is die-off IN MY HEART which kind of freaks me out. I do recall similar episodes during my first year of treatment.
Or maybe a conduction issue? Dunno.
Anyone else with heart blorps?
OMG I have a stethoscope. I should just listen to my own heart.

- I love how well you describe it. It sounds like what I imagine you feel.
The Urban Dictionary describes "blorp" as random garble. All kinds of heart blips & garble were huge on my radar for years. I also was diagnosed with MVP by one cardiologist but another said, "nope" so who knows. But it used to go bonkers in every which way.
Love the term, Medical Mystery Tour - nice that from a terrible time to have a smile just by renaming that diagnostic ordeal.
Not so much now and all I can say is that something here might be my heart helper:
Berberine, Andrographis - my two mainstays, on and off, sometimes together but mostly these days just berberine.
Hawthorn has also really helped in the past as has Allicin (though that might be a little stimulating for some, it can really "clean" the vessel lining).
Magnesium (as I'm sure you know) is an excellent emergency helper for heart rhythm. Sometimes that can be forgotten. -

Cordydalis popped up from a PubMed search of Berberine, Atrial Fibrillation. That might also be a consideration. It's rather calming in nature. In Hepapro's Herb-Som. -

It could be A-fib .. but usually that lasts longer than just one or two missed beats.
keep a watch on it!

I have MVP. Sometimes it acts up and sometimes it doesn't. I really don't know what brings it on. I can go months without noticing it, then all of a sudden it starts up again. Had this before Lyme.

Keebler - I forgot about Hawthorn. I've used it in the past with excellent results. And I have some! Thanks!
I've also seen the term Medical Misery Tour, which is certainly accurate, but such a downer.

I used to have atrial flutter. It feels like a fish flopped in my chest and it would stop.
I think it was babs for me. I can't be sure though.

Interesting. Floppy, not blorpy.
I will pay close attention. I do agree this could be Babs too.
