There are times I can feel my heart beating all over my body. It started mainly in my head, ears and neck but have noticed it feeling it through out my body. My husband says if I am sitting he can see my head shake as to the beat of a heart.

Its more noticeable when I get up and just go to another room..

Have had echo, ekg, and labs like everything else all normal. Oh I also have PVC but they are not as bad or I notice them less.

tks

Sometimes I have this too. If I sit really still my body moves, almost imperceptibly, to the beat of my heart.
My ECG and stress tests were normal as well.

That "shakin' to the rhythm" thing tripped me up many times over the years, too. It is very unpleasant but never a surprise for anyone with lyme / TBD.

Magnesium is the number one helper. Even if you take, read the articles so that you know you have the right kind, the right dose and it's balanced with other key nutrients.

Magnesium won't address lyme (and it's important to do that) yet is vital support for so many reasons. If you are taking it, you may need more, or in more doses, alwasy divided - 3 - 4 x a day.

The spasms can be from a toxic load, so liver support is vital, too. Be aware that some Rx can block glutathione in the liver and that can cause increased toxity. I just left detail about that with one Rx you take. See your other current thread.

A LLMD or LL ND is best to guide, if you can possible find one. I hope this may be the answer to help ease things a bit:

Liver support is still important to help reduce toxicity that can cause the muscles spasms, too. That's what's happening, spasms of muscles.

I know you say you are not treating lyme or other TBD right now, still, liver support is still very important.

BODY WORK

Nerve pressure of some kind on your spine could also cause muscles to spasm like this.

Be sure your posture is good. If you have stiffness or pain in spine / neck, cranial sacral therapy may bring relief.

Likewise, sometimes, tightness of the gut muscles can trigger such spasms (and anxiety, too).

The same place that trains doctors and PT so well with cranial sacral also has VISCERAL therapy.

Web Search: UPLEDGER INSTITUTE to find someone trained in these techniques near you. This is a gentle style.

Otherwise, if you see someone not trained in this method, there are a couple other gentle styles. Just never allow anyone to suddenly twist your neck or spine. NOT good for anyone with lyme.

BODY MASSAGE can be very helpful, too, especially if they are trained in MYOFASCIAL RELEASE.

Still, nothing replaces the need for magnesium and other minerals to help calm these kinds of spasms.

Some of the B-Vitamins help, too.

I had this sx for months last year when I was really ill. I'm
Not in remission yet, but I don't get this anymore. I had a full cardiac work up and all was fine. I also had many pvcs and episodes of taxhycardia. Very very scary but it's been almost a year since I've had any of these sx. Hang in there. Keep treating.

Wow!! Keebler, you are so right about Magnesium. That heart pounding all over used to keep me awake at nights!

I started taking Magnesium about two or three months ago and I just now realized that it doesn't happen anymore.

I bet the Magnesium stopped it!!!

Canefan17 may be onto something. I recently had some sort of relapse... my lymph nodes got full again and I noticed weird marks and red spots on my skin (which I never had before) so I tried Rifampin again (I treated Bart for 9 months before). When I took the Rifampin, my heart issues acted up again as well as that heart beating feeling allover.
