- Duck tape will irritate the tick to no end as the tape is being applied (and then stomach contents can spill out in that moment between application and removal.
It may not actually pull the tick, either - yet can also runs the risk of pulling part of the tick but leaving mouth parts behind, embedded. -

Thank you, I should have had something to send to her but I got so rattled.
This is the child's 4th tick this year and I worry that she will get sick.
Hope they read the site....
