I had a western blot done at a normal lab, with only band #23 that showed up.
I am thinking of doing the Igenix test, I am only on Rifampin currently for meds.
Do I do the basic or the complete test? Do I need the complete to find out if I have Lyme?
Thanks

My doc did an antibiotic challenge with doxy. (doxy goes great with rifampin, although this time of year with the sun-minocycline or tinidazole would be better)
Then just ordered an Igm Western Blot. If it is your first time, maybe an IgM and IgG blot is in order.
Why are you needing a blood test?
Do you have an LLMD?
Just a cautionary note...rifampin by itself is useless against lyme, and other bacteria quickly build resistence to it when it is used solo.
So if you are using it for bart-brucella-mycoplasma or TB-it will be useless unless you pair it with another abx.
Seriously.
