My daughter has been off her LDN for about 2 weeks and has crashed. Anybody experience similiar results and does LDN have a withdrawal effect.

How much was she taking and for how long? Crashing how, what are her symptoms?

I would not think there would be any type of withdrawal on LDN. You might want to ask your question on the LDN trust forum. http://forum.ldnresearchtrust.org/

Your daughter is not withdrawing from LDN. Her immune system is collapsing and she is getting sicker.

LDN does not cause addiction so there is no withdrawal. You do not become dependent upon it. It boosts your immune system and produces up to 300% regulatory T cells. It does this by tricking the body to produce massive amounts of endorphins. You feel better physically, emotionally and mentally.

Why did you take her off?

I did not take her off of it. She is married and had not got around to renewing her prescription. I am a frustrated father when my adult children do not stay diligent

This is interesting as I ran out of my prescription on Friday and today feel terrible - terribly achy in entire body, very short temper, just feeling off and a lot of my symptoms that had disappeared are back. I am picking up my prescription tomorrow, but it does make me wonder if there is some type of withdrawal syndrome associated with it. Anything that affects the brain chemically would induce some kind of withdrawal syndrome I believe.

My immune system is still very weak even after over a year on LDN - none of my immune markers have changed. My CD 57 remains 16. Cd4 is very low - as low as an HIV patient's. I'm not sure it is really the miracle immune boosting drug many believe it to be and judging by how I feel right now just 2 days without it, I would assume there is some kind of a withdrawal syndrome.

I ran out and also didnt refill. I did ok because my immune system has kicked in over the years but there was no withdrawal, I just slowly lost my great energy and feeling of well being.

It is supposed to block the dopamine receptors during the night so the body creates more

Hope she can get back on it soon, it sure makes a difference

This is interesting.
When I first read about low dose Naltrexone, they were saying that it reduced inflammation.

As I wasn't able to get a prescription to try this protocol, I decided to try systemic enzymes, which also reduce inflammation.

Magnesium, fish oil, and systemic enzymes have reduced inflammation and many symptoms for me.
If I run out, I notice that the headache and body and joint pain increase alot.

Consider trying other methods of reducing inflammation, and see if your symptoms improve.

By the way, cayenne will increase endorphins.

Jwall I have the same cd57 as you. I haven't done ldn yet but I've treated aggressively for almost 2 years.

I'd like to try ldn. How much does it cost per month?

I know how frustrated you can get with adult children. It took seven months to convince my adult son to try LDN after he was diagnosed with adult onset type one diabetes.

Thank goodness he finally gave in and tried it because he has not lost beta cell function since. It seems to have stopped the attack.

The reason people feel bad when they stop it is they are getting sick again. I forgot to take LDN for a few days and picked up the flu last winter. Luckily it was a very mild case but as long as I stay on it, I don't get sick.

If your CD57 is low, you could have protomyxzoa. It is incurable and must be controlled with a low fat diet. LDN helps but it will not make you 100% healthy if you have this - unless you get it under control first with drugs and strictly follow the diet.
