What do people who are GF do about gluten in supplements, vitamins, meds, etc? Is there a good source for GF supplements, etc.? Or any place that even lists which ones are GF?

I'm trying to see if there are any shortcuts because I'm on about 30 different things and I don't have time to call each separate manufacturer to try to get them to tell me their ingredients, discuss gluten cross-contamination, etc.

I'm pretty new to eating GF. It is helping me, and I think I've succeeded in getting it out of my food. Now I need to focus on my meds. I hate to think that the things I'm taking to make me feel better could be having the opposite effect due to hidden gluten.

A secondary issue would be trying to find meds without any artificial dyes. I really hate taking bright orange pills.

Even if something online says gluten free if it's something like a supplement I tend to call the manufacturer. It's a pain but once you've called them once, you'll know for sure it's GF. Sometimes it will list it on the label if you look closely or you could always go to Vitacost website and look at the supplement info. to see if it has wheat.

I use NOW brand because nearly every product they have is gluten, dairy, corn and yeast free. It is clearly marked on the bottles.

I buy mine at Swanson's Vitamins. Very much discounted.
