I recently had an adrenal saliva test and a.m. cortisol is very low.
I have some testosterone cream which LLMD rxd but I stopped using because a naturopath questioned using it. I stopped about 2 months ago.
Cortisol and adrenals and hormones are so confusing to me.
I was never tested for testoerone. I was rebitten by a tick last year, had dry eye and droopy lid and read in professional studies on lyme and droopy lid that T helped. I asked LLMD if I could try and she agreed. It did clear up my eye problem.
I think I'm doing everything right for adrenals with suppls but the least stress or noise starts adrenaline.
I don't have that LLMD or any other medical person to ask about this now.
Would T help or hurt adrenals? I'm kind of wondering if I was able to tolerate stress less when I quit.

You should test your hormones to see where your at. I wouldn't use them unless I knew I needed them.
I had low DHEA, and low T, my LLMD gave me those plus a small amount of Progesterone and Estrogen to balance the T.
I don't know if they have any impact on the adrenals. My Cortisol was fine. I'm a girl too. I'm pretty sure if you use the Testosterone cream you have to use Progesterone and Estrogen to balance it.
