I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 18 years ago when my son was born. I was put on levoxyl .75. I'm tested often enough that my t3 and t4 are in range on the med.
in 2000 I was tested for the antibodies and my tpo was really high and kind of justified my Meds. Went to endocrine doc Friday and retested tpo which now was normal.
He said that he had no proof that I ever had hypothyroidism, found old bloodwork and faxed to him.
Could hypothyroid correct itself? Have been doing ondamed and would be amazed if its gone. My t3 and t4 are in range with levoxyl though. If anyone understands this, thank you.

Find an integrative doctor. They are up on what is going on in this field and will treat regardless of what your labs say if you are symptomatic.
Most LLMD's are not thyroid experts.

Ondamed is great (I think it fixes stuff).

Yes. I think the thyroid can correct itself. I had hyper and at times hypo. I was given meds. After aggressively treating Lyme, co-infections and parasites. I no longer have had thyroid issues. My thyroid issues have stayed gone for more than a year.
