Been a while since i posted an update...so for any of you coonsidering doing what i've done:
it has been a rough ride but i firmly believe(as much as you can) that the worst of it may be over. Of all the things i addressed(and continue to do so):
- amalgam removal - KPU - chelation - babesia
it will be very hard to figure what did what...but i can say that after 2 years of not making progress i am now making progress again. i am having strings of days where i feel pretty good...this occcuring in the last month after 4 very, very difficult months(i can't underscore this enough)
in my heart i really believe that discovering i have babs was critical....improving my immune function is also right there. i have had follow up ART done and my immune system and my variable heart rate tests are both improving.
my tests for metal also show major improvement
for the record i never had a night sweat or air hunger....that is until treatment.
not sure when i will be 100% well as most of my gains have been physical(more stamina, more energy)...i still have significant brain fog and ongoing anxiety(flared by starting artemisinin 2 weeks ago).
That's it for now.
Dave

Thanks for this update. Really useful. And big congrats for finding your "missing links" to wellness.
I also had no Babs' symptoms until I treated for it. It is a VERY misunderstood little pathogen, and I think it's missed often, even by our LLMDs. Thank you for making that point.
Treat your Babs until you are well beyond symptom free. Relapsing is common. Do not give it a chance!
Glad you're having some good stretches. That is encouraging.
thank you....this is one of the first times i powered through. I am doing a lot of detox everyday....byron white, coffee enemas, chlorella, epsom salt baths.

No. I was symptom-free for Babs for 18 months, then relapsed. That was in 2010 and I've been fighting ever since. I've had a hard time with abx/herb protocols due to C.diff.
I am also highly inflamed and immune suppressed. I'm looking into ways to get those systems working. Just started LDN. Trying to lift weights on a regular schedule.
I also fight the brain fog and anxiety. I have good days, too, but still go through rough patches.

sorry to hear that...totally understand the inflammation issue. i never had inflammation this bad while treating Lyme...but as soon as i hit babs...i'm so swollen.
you beat this once so i'm sure you will beat this again.

Best of luck to you! Babesia is a parasite similar to malaria. Have you tried any anti-parasite treatments? Some people say MMS cures malaria. It's pretty intense but you may want to look into it.

Just wondering, does your LLMD also do ART testing or do you see 2 separate doctors/practitioners?

Congrats Dave. I am going to address babs with a Stephen Buhner based triple herbal formula, by Woodland Essence.
BoxerMom do you think there's a chance you got bit again and that's why relapsed?
I got probably my 3rd tickbite in my life (I think I may have had one at 21 as I was in CT in the summer and thru my 20s had typical lyme type symptoms)...just 5 weeks ago in GA and now I feel like crap and have to address everything all over again.
