A couple of days ago I posted that I've been dealing with sore throat, headache/pressure, tightness in chest and eye swelling.
Couple of days ago and first thing in the morning I spit out very tiny dark purple dots. Maybe the size of the tip of a pin.
Now this morning I spit out very bright pink spit. It was so bright I thought this cant be blood. It was a faint bright pink. If that makes any sense.
I'm kinda freaking out here. Anyone know why this could happen other than things that could kill you??
It's only when I first get up in the mornings. Before drinking or eating anything.
Thank you

Minor bleeding is common in mucus membranes that are inflamed (such as a sore throat). I wouldn't worry about it unless you were spitting mouthfuls of dark red blood...

Could be an indication of lungworms. Very common with Lyme disease according to Dr. K. Suggest you read the PARASITE WARRIORS SUPPORT THREAD.

My first thought was lungworms as well.
And Razzle makes a very good point.
Early on into treatment I was coughing blood bits, nosebleeds. Very minor.
I asked my doc, and he said the same thing as Razzle.
