My child is taking alot of probiotics, 100 billion a day. He is having to take 5 pills 2 x a day with all the other thing he needs to take, and that's not even including the Abx.

Does anyone have any recommendations for one potent probiotic that comes in just one pill? Since this is going to be a long term battle for us I don't want him to get tired of all the pills and start to refuse them.

Grateful for any input. Thank you.

VSL#3 has 112.5 billion in one capsule, order online or request from your pharmacy.

Or Custom Probiotics. Many of theirs are in powder form.

Dr. B's guidelines suggest Doctor's Assist Pro, a soil based pre and pro-biotic, which I use.

PS.. You can sprinkle the contents of the probiotics capsules onto food or mix in water.

Look into Kefir.

My digestive system always feels better when I drink this, with much less gas too.
I make it using the starter powder.

I also make Kombuca, and love the taste of it plain or with something like peach puree in it. It's easy to make once you get the mother culture going, only takes about 5 -7 days to make; and if you like beer, it is very satisfying in particular. It has lots of probiotics.

Theralac for kids comes in powder form. I shake it up in a little bit of apple juice and my kids take it fine that way.

It's been a while since we used VSL#3 but I think that was powder form too. That's a great one. It's much less expensive if you get it as a prescription.

Thank you all for your advice. I've ordered the VSL3 for kids through our local CVS. It will be ready to pick up tomorrow.

Thanks again!
