I just got an email from a friend that she's finished 3 weeks of doxy for this. Had shooting pains all over and now is just really tired.
She said her dogs have been treated for this AND known LD.
I'm thinking if the dogs have lyme she has too and doesn't understand this--but wondeering if it IS ONLY anaplasmosis, is this adequate treatment?

Beats me why she'd have her dogs treated for lyme and not think about it for herself. I suppose her duck figured doxy would have that covered.
All I can do is tell her to watch for symptoms as time goes on.

People always say that Anaplasma/Ehrlichis is easy to treat. But that hasn't been my experience at all. In spite of treating it several times, I still always test +, even by PCR. Plus, I have the extremely low WBC's & neutrophils that it can cause.
Yeah, she needs an LLMD and a Lyme education! She gets her dog treated better than herself??!!

She's gone to Mayo for other health issues and I'm quite sure that's all she'd consider.
She advised me to go once and I said no thanks!
Got an email from her today and she's still having some stabbing pains and very tired.
One of her dogs is still sick and still getting doxy!
