My husbands labs have shown low wbc for some time now, any one else deal with this, his Endo doctor suggested Thombrocytopenia, should I be making an appt with A hematologist, currently have no llmd, has been tested positive for lyme

No not tested, but will start him on arteminisin, thanks are you treating for babs, if so what are you using

I got a low white blood cell count when treating lyme, babs, and bart.
My lyme doctor said this often happens. He said that the body senses the antibiotics, knows that they fight infection, and so it concludes that it does not have to make so many white blood cells (to fight infection) as a result.
So, when my count went low, he had me take Transfer Factor with bovine (cow's) colostrum in it. That brought my count up to normal in 2 weeks.
I believe the brand was called 4Life.
Thanks to how the Transfer Factor worked, I didn't have to stop my antibiotic therapy.
Later, the count went low again, so I took Transfer Factor again. The third time it went low, he told me to just stay on the Transfer Factor until I finished my treatment. (That was about 5 more months.)
So, this is a typical lyme patient problem and it can be solved with the Transfer Factor or, if need be, stopping the antibiotics for a time.
I know that babesiosis explodes red blood cells, so you could have a low number of mature red blood cells due to babs. Babs then causes a type of anemia called hemolytic anemia. I never heard of it affecting white blood cell count.

Same here... low WBC and RBC. Treating Lyme and Babs for over three years. Will try my second round of Rif soon to see if Bart is still hanging around.
LLNP doesn't seemed too concerned with WBC as long as I can still make a fist to let nurse draw blood.
