I have a physical today and wanted to compile a list of things to discuss with my NEW dr and obviously, the symptoms I have been experiencing will be on that list...
My question is, what specific tests can I request other than the generic lyme test they all do (or don't do)?
Thanks in advance!

Ask for and demand this one. Q-RiBb Test for Lyme it's $100.00's of dollars cheaper.

- I'm not sure where you can get a Q-RiBb Test now but most regular doctors know nothing about it and contest it's valuable insight. It's had a (wrongly) contested history and will not be accepted by any doctor following IDSA procedures (as most doctors do).
I wish you had more time to learn about testing. It's pretty complex.
If you happen to have Kaiser insurance, just forget trying to get assessment. If you do have that insurance, post and we will tell you why you will need to find a different doctor.
If you have other insurance, they don't usually cover the best testing. Details below.
WHY you need an ILADS "educated" or "minded" Lyme Literate doctor (whether MD or ND, or both) - starting with assessment / evaluation.
Medical "models" explained here, as to differences in the ISDA & ILADS models of assessment & treatment - and exactly why it is so very important to know the differences. -

Is your doc an LLMD?
If not, don't get your hopes up. I've made that mistake in the past, and the interactions with an MD left me upset for a week.
