http://www.infectioncontroltoday.com/news/2013/09/microbiologist-discovers-herbal-medicine-treatment-for-common-human-fungus.aspx

This was is an interesting article. Apparently the herb Gymnema slyvestre can help treat Candida and other fungal infections.

You should read how it works. Pretty incredible. It stops the growth of the Candida and breaks down the biofilm.

It does not harm healthy cells and appears to be safe for people like cancer patients. So it seems like it would be a good supplement to combo with Diflucan if you were not getting good results on your own.

Classically it is used to lower blood sugars so you would have to be careful there.

Read up!

I've heard of it... I will have to delve into a bit more deeply! I need something for candida biofilms.

Lemongrass and clove oil also break up biofilms.

THANKS for the link!

It can also be used before a party to limit the amount of alcohol intake. Not that I know much about it and my resource will stay anonymous!

All the Best, MattH

Haha, Matt! I sure wouldn't know anything about that myself!

I found it at Vitacost and Swanson's. Very cheap. The bummer is that I had just placed a big order at Swanson's right before seeing this!!

I may look at a health food store's options tomorrow. I prefer to save money buying online.
